Welcome to Kentford Manor

You can be sure to enjoy the best of care in beautiful surroundings at our Newmarket care home. Here our dedicated team provide nursing, dementia and residential care, as well as short term respite care.

Kentford Manor is a luxury care home a short distance from the town's famous racecourse and vibrant centre. Our modern home sits within the Suffolk countryside and has excellent road, rail and air links.

Our stylish lounges, welcoming bistro and a stunning collection of ensuite bedrooms are designed with residents in mind. We have larger suites, suitable for couples, available too. This spring we also launched our newly refurbished residential suite, featuring large en-suite rooms, many with their own kitchenettes and separate living area – perfect for couples or for those wanting more space to relax or entertain visitors. Your loved one can enjoy the many premium facilities, including a hair and beauty salon and cinema room.

We provide a varied activity programme and our outings to local areas of interest are a hit, and our beautifully landscaped gardens and sensory garden are the perfect place to relax with friends.

Our own minibus allows residents to visit local shops and local areas of interest. For those that don’t have their own transport and would like to visit their loved ones at the home, we are happy to arrange a pick up and drop off, at a time convenient to you.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

At our Kentford care home our dedicated Activities Coordinators enjoy helping residents to maintain friendships and interests in the local community. Our daily activites include arts and crafts and pamper sessions in our hair and beauty salon. As well as the range of events we hold inside our care home, we also organise trips, celebrate special occasions and we like to get involved with the local community.

We are extremely pleased with the place. It's such a caring environment, you see it as soon as you walk in… the ladies sitting around with the carers painting their nails, staff always interracting with the residents, everyone knows everyone, it's really heartwarming. And they have wonderful entertainment, not a day goes by without something going. They put pictures up so that family members can see what their loved ones have been up to... the staff get the residents up dancing... something for everyone.

The care our loved one receives is excellent. They keep us updated with how he is doing and if they have any concerns at all they ring us right away. He has dementia and he's not the easiest to look after; they deal with him very well and he's getting on so nicely since moving to the home. He is happy and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Every time I visit, the staff are always engaged with my loved one. When he's in the hospital they always ring for updates. They make him feel welcome and part of a family, they genuinely care about him. It's a nice place for him to be, I'm absolutely sure of that.
