I have been in the care sector for over 30 years, starting as a care assistant working nights to fit in with my family, then completing my nurse training and choosing to work in care homes in the private sector. I have worked in senior management roles for over 25 years and I place a lot of value on having a team which is motivated to achieve success.

I believe a key part of my role is to ensure Regional Directors and Home Managers deliver our strategy and objectives. This is achieved through good communication and support. My role will ensure the delivery of operational excellence in care, as Care UK continues to grow and develop.

My values are aligned with those of Care UK and I am delighted to be part of a team that will continue to provide high quality care, achieve compliance, both internally and externally, and continue to be sector leading both in terms of quality care for residents, and respect and support of our fantastic teams.
