80th Anniversary of D-Day 

We’re leading the way in a national tribute to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.

On the 80th Anniversary of D-Day on 6th June 2024, communities up and down the country came together to remember the many thousands of people who gave their lives to enable us to enjoy the freedoms we have today. 

Many residents living in our care homes across the country lived through this poignant period, and so Care UK acted as the ‘Beacon of Light to those who care’. 

We partnered with Bruno Peek CVO OBE OPR, Pageant master of D-Day 80, and the three Forces Charities and the Merchant Navy Association involved in D-Day 80, in leading a national tribute.
