Care UK colleagues are eagerly anticipating the results of the In-house Recruitment Awards, where they have been shortlisted in three categories.
The In-house Recruitment Awards celebrate teams who excel in the face of ongoing challenges, fuelled by the expectations of job seekers and stakeholders in a dynamic market, acknowledging and celebrating accomplishments.
Care UK is shortlisted in three categories, they are:
The first shortlisting is for Use of Tech. Care UK impressed the judges by highlighting the use of different communication systems across 156 homes, such as Care UK’s annual Over to You! colleague survey, the embedding of Loop, Enboarder which allows important text messages to be sent to all colleagues, and various support methods on our website.
Care UK have also been recognised in the Candidate Experience category, securing a space on the shortlist through innovative thinking. Care UK continues to find a balance between organisational and colleague needs, maximising the candidate experience whilst continuing to support the company’s overarching strategy. The result is a strengthened and stable workforce with improved retention and record-breaking net recruitment figures.
To help identify and prioritise areas of focus and challenges for colleagues, data and feedback are constantly analysed in tandem. Care UK’s Over to You! annual engagement survey is part of a continuous 12-month cycle of involving colleagues to improve the day-to-day working environment in the homes and beyond.
Care UK will also be heading into the awards ceremony hoping to secure the Best Place to Work award. The judges took into account Care UK’s record-breaking recruitment levels, which have run alongside reduced turnover and engagement levels reaching their highest point since 2022. Over the past year, individual homes have also taken a proactive approach to colleague engagement, having been empowered to introduce and implement home-specific initiatives.
The winners will be announced on 27th November at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
