Phillip Steyn
Operations Director (midlands and east)

 

I have been in the care sector for over 20 years. I initially joined Care UK as a team leader, before progressing to Home Manager, then to Regional Director in Suffolk and most recently I became the Operations Director for the Midlands and the East of England.

I am passionate about the delivery of high-quality care. Whilst leading our teams in Suffolk, I was incredibly proud that they achieved seven concurrent CQC ‘Outstanding’ rated homes. Supporting teams to deliver person-centred, compassionate care is what drives me.

I am constantly inspired by my colleagues, who provide unrivalled care to residents - supporting them with dignity, compassion, kindness, and respect. Every day I learn from our diverse and talented teams who work together to make a care home run smoothly, and I am honoured to play a small part in their successes. 

Our teams actively encourage the sharing of best practice and continue to innovate to ensure Care UK residents benefit from the best quality care and can continue to live a fulfilling life in our homes.
