We have busy times ahead with a development programme, which means we have state of the art care homes opening on an ongoing basis. In fact, over the last 10 years we have built and developed 57 new care homes across the UK. I’ve spent more than 20 years in senior management positions and have worked for Weight Watchers UK, Punch Taverns, Spirit Group, and Allied Domecq in addition to holding a non-executive position with the NHS. During my career I have gained a wealth of experience in growing and leading teams and making businesses better at what they do. I joined the care sector because I am passionate about the difference that great care can make to the quality of someone’s life. I wanted to use my experience to help drive Care UK’s future based on delivering high quality, innovative care, in enabling environments, including developing new homes in response to demand for older people’s care across the country.
