We can support with flexible care, designed for older people living independently
We run a range of adult day clubs around the UK.
Our clubs offer a welcoming, friendly place where older people, including those living with dementia, can make friends and have fun while their family carers take a well-earned break.
Run by dedicated and experienced care teams, our clubs give you peace of mind that your loved one is in safe hands.
Designed for older people who are living independently, our clubs are a great option if your loved one is looking for a change of scene, opportunities to meet new people or support enjoying their hobbies or trying something new.
While many of our members are still living on their own in the local area with support from family carers, they find that getting out regularly gives them something to look forward to and helps them maintain an active lifestyle back home. It also gives their carers a chance to put their feet up.
Every day is different at our day clubs, and members are free to choose how they’d like to spend their time. From gardening sessions to dancing, and arts and crafts to gentle exercise, our team will provide a programme of activities that’s tailored to members’ interests. We can even take trips out to the shops, a garden centre or a local place of interest if that’s what members wish to do. Or if an individual wants a little quiet time, we’ll support them with one-to-one activities too.
Members can also access the superb facilities of our luxury care homes at no extra charge. These vary by location, but they often include cinema rooms, hair and beauty salons and coffee shops complete with freshly made cakes. Our in-house chefs will also cook your loved one a tasty homemade meal.
We’ll support each day club member and their family in any way we can by ensuring they have an enjoyable and fulfilling time when they’re with us. Read more about the lifestyles and food on offer in Care UK care homes.
Our day clubs are warm and welcoming places where members can feel at home and do what makes them happy, all while receiving the care and support they need. Our dedicated teams are highly trained to provide the best standard of care.
Some club members are living with dementia, and our skilled teams are fully trained to care for older people with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, in addition to supporting people who are physically frail or need a little help with everyday tasks.
Members of our adult day clubs are welcome to come along for a couple of hours, up to a full day or several days a week. We’re here to make life as easy as we can for you, so although we have set opening hours, we can often provide care outside these times too.
Opening hours, fees and trial sessions vary, so please get in touch with a day club to learn more about the service they offer.
