What others have to say

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Muriel Street care home.

Our loved one has Alzheimer's and can be very difficult. It was a difficult decision putting him into care. The first time we visited the home all the staff came to introduce themselves and helped put our minds at rest. It's a very welcoming environment and the staff are genuinely caring with all the residents, they treat everyone like a friend. They encourage everyone to get involved with activities and support them as much as possible to engage... they genuinely want everyone to enjoy their life as much as possible.

Relative of a resident, March 2024

We are unable to visit as often as we would like due to distance, but whenever we visit we are always impressed by the caring nature of the staff and the attention and affection given to the residents. They do a very good job keeping us informed about our loved one and what's going on in the home, and if there are any changes in her condition they call us right away.

Relative of a resident, March 2024

The staff have really paid attention to what we share with them about our loved one and they use that knowledge to engage with her as much as possible. She is in the adavanced stages of dementia, bedbound with no communication capabilities, but the staff talk to her just the same as ever, tender when feeding her, attentive to her appearance... they are loving and respectful towards her.

Relative of a resident, March 2024

They seem to look after him very well and every time I've rung up to speak to him, the staff seem to know who I am. They're very good.

Relative of a resident, August 2023

My mum is Italian, they had some Italian speaking staff who regularly spoke to my mum, she is more able to understand Italian people than English as dementia patients remember early days, so that's a nice touch.
