We understand that many older people want to continue living independently for as long as they can. Having the chance to relax, socialise and have fun gives members a great boost, improving independence and positivity, making everyday tasks and life back at home that bit easier. We believe that with regular visits to our day club, some members may be able to reside longer in their own homes.
No two days are the same. Members choose what they’d like to do, and activities might include singing, creative sessions, exercise or dancing, gardening or reminiscence.
Some members love to spend time in the garden or they might have a pamper session over at Davers Court. Others like to help around the club because it gives them a sense of achievement. We never dictate what day club members do. This is a place where people should feel at home, and do what makes them happy.
Some club members are living with dementia. Our skilled team is fully trained and experienced in caring for older people with this condition and will ensure that your loved one has a fulfilling time with us in the club’s secure and comfortable surroundings.
