Welcome to Highbury New Park Day Centre

We provide flexible, personalised daytime care for older people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, in a fun, welcoming and homely environment. 

Our club is the ideal place for your loved one to come and enjoy fun and stimulating activities and to make new friends, all in comfortable surroundings. We believe in supporting each member and their family in any way we can by providing flexible options and a wide range of activities for members to enjoy, whilst giving you some valuable time to yourself.

How it works

Discover a friendly welcome and a flexible approach at our day care centre in Islington, North London.

Open seven days a week, 8.00am - 6.00pm.

We specialise in dementia and Alzheimer’s care, to attend, this must be the primary diagnosis. 

We appreciate that your loved one might want the chance to trial our club before making any decisions, so we offer a chance for prospective members to pop in for a few hours for a cup of tea and the opportunity to take a closer look at our facilities.

Please call us on 0207 704 3731. We will then arrange to do a full assessment so we can understand your loved one’s care needs.

All members receive a three course meal using dining with dignity approaches, as well as snacks and refreshments throughout the day

Many of our centre members are still living in their own homes but find that getting out and about on a regular basis gives them something to look forward to, keeps them independent and actually makes life back at home easier. 

Our members are a diverse and friendly group from a range of backgrounds. Our staff take time to get to know each individual Our focus is on fulfilling lives and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle remains at the heart of this philosophy. Every day, our staff, and a range of external professionals, organise games and events which are not only stimulating, but also a great deal of fun. One-to-one activities are also organised on a regular basis.
