Party time! Ware care home invites local community to summer extravaganza

A care home in Ware is inviting the local community to enjoy a day of family fun at its annual summer party.

On Wednesday 17^th August, from 12.30pm-2pm residents at Care UK’s Snowdrop House, on Baldock Street, will welcome friends, family, and members of the community to celebrate the summer and meet new people in the local area.  

Visitors to the care home will be treated to a calypso party, complete with a live singing performance from Mike Marandi, face painting, fancy dress as well as a delicious barbecue prepared by the home’s talented chefs.

Clare Crow, Home Manager at Snowdrop House, said: “The preparations for our calypso party are well underway, and we are looking forward to welcoming the local community into Snowdrop House once again for a party to remember.

“Building strong relationships with those in the area is something we’re keen to facilitate, and it also offers us a chance to say thank you to everyone for their support. We’re looking forward to welcoming relatives and friends, new and old, to a day of family-friendly fun, and showing them what life at Snowdrop House is all about.”

Snowdrop House delivers a full range of residential and nursing care for older people, including short-term respite care, and specialist care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
