New quiet room opened at Charlotte House

Charlotte House has proudly unveiled a newly refurbished ‘quiet room’ for residents.

The room which used to be an unused area of the home has now been transformed into an inviting lounge area for quiet hobbies and catching up with loved ones.

Guy Chappelle, home manager said, “The quiet room was fully visioned and completed by our customer advisor, Michael Krasser.  This demonstrates how committed we are as individuals and as a team to provide a warm and relaxing home for our residents and their loved ones.”

The room, which is comfortably furnished to accommodate two people, has picturesque views over the home’s garden. The large windows let in lots of light, afternoon sunshine and the green colour scheme creates an atmosphere of calm and relaxation.

Additionally, the room has been filled with its very own book collection to double up as a reading room, allowing the residents to put their feet up and relax with a good book - and additionally, CD's along with a CD player will be available for anyone who would like to indulge in a bit of classical music - or any other tastes they might have.

Lesley Shears, husband of respite resident Audrey added, "I feel so relaxed sitting in the Green Room listening to music with my wife; I wished I had one like this at home."
