Pasta la vista! Isleworth care home invites local community to a festival to remember

A new festival is coming to Isleworth – and you won’t believe where it’s taking place.  

On 30 June, from 2pm – 4pm, Care UK’s Charlotte House, on Snowy Fielder Waye, is set to get mouths watering as it opens its doors to local people for a brand-new international food festival. 

The fun-filled festival comes as Charlotte House celebrates Care Home Open Week, a national initiative that encourages care homes to open their doors and showcase what life in a care home is really like. 

The special event will see guests invited to enjoy different cuisines from countries around the world, which have been prepared by the home’s Head Chef and local food sellers. From pasta to curry, burgers to burritos, the festival will include something to tickle all taste buds. 

Elisabeta Carmen Surligeanu, Home Manager at Charlotte House, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming the local community to join our first-ever food festival here at Charlotte House. 

“Care Home Open Week offers the perfect opportunity to get together with loved ones and enjoy a celebration of the world’s best cuisine. Many residents at Charlotte House are keen cooks and have attended several food festivals in the past, so this event will encourage them to look back and relive their time spent in the kitchen, cooking up a treat.”
