Bromsgrove care home toasts key milestone with party for local community

 

A care home in Bromsgrove is inviting the local community to a big celebration, as they pull out all the stops to mark a special anniversary. 

It’s party time at Care UK’s Chandler Court, on Recreation Road, as residents and team members are set to welcome the community on Friday 24^th January, from 11am to 4pm, to celebrate the home’s seventh birthday.

On the day, team members will be organising a 1970’s disco party, with a host of games and a live singer to get everyone’s toes tapping. Adding to the festivities, the home’s Head Chef is preparing a 70’s inspired canape for everyone to enjoy, while listening to entertainment by Becci Gee. 

Looking forward to the celebrations is resident, Mary Baker, who said: “Dancing is my favourite thing.” Resident Lilian added: “I can’t wait for the singing!”

Lilly Dahms, Home Manager at Chandler Court, said: “We are really looking forward to celebrating our seventh birthday in true Chandler Court style – with the local community and plenty of music! 

“The past seven years have been filled with fantastic moments for everyone at the home, residents, and team members alike, and we have no plans to slow down as we look ahead to creating more memorable experiences for residents over the next seven years and beyond! 

“I’d like to extend a huge thank you to our dedicated team for making Chandler Court a wonderful place to call home – this is certainly going to be a birthday party to remember!”

Chandler Court is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full-time residential, dementia and nursing care, as well as short-term respite care.
