Care UK shortlisted in five categories at the National Dementia Care Awards.

Company news

Care UK homes have been shortlisted in five categories at the 2024 National Dementia Care Awards.

The National Dementia Care Awards aim to reward and recognise those who have demonstrated excellence within their field of work. The awards serve as a platform for sharing best practices and innovative approaches to inspire others to adopt a person-centred approach to dementia care while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the dementia care community.

This year Care UK is the title sponsor of the Awards and category sponsor for the Outstanding Practice in Dignity and Respect category.

Care UK is shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Inspirational Leader in Dementia Care - Alison Butler
  • Best Dementia Care Home - Murrayside
  • Outstanding approach to supporting people living with dementia using creativity and the arts - Appleby House
  • Best Activity Provider/Lifestyle Lead - Bishops Manor
  • Outstanding Dementia Care Team - Weald Heights

The winners will be announced during a lunchtime event on Thursday 26 September 2024 at Cutlers’ Hall, Sheffield.
