Hale care home welcomes Sir Graham Brady for summer garden party

There was fun in the sun for everyone when the team at a care home in Hale welcomed Sir Graham Brady for a traditional British summer party.

The Care UK team at Halecroft Grange, on Hale Road, were joined by local MP for Altrincham and Sale West, Sir Graham Brady, at their summer garden party event. Residents and family members were treated to a home-made lunch by the home’s head chef, including burgers, sandwiches, and salad, followed by an ice-cream van for everyone to cool down in the summer heat.

Suzi Sumegi, General Manager at Halecroft Grange, said: “We had a great time at our summer garden party with Sir Graham Brady. The residents really enjoyed the summer celebrations, and it was fantastic to have so many relatives and members of the community come along and meet Sir Graham Brady on such a lovely summer's day.

“Here at Halecroft Grange, we are always looking for ways to build strong relationships with the people of Hale and holding a garden party with Sir Graham Brady, our local MP, was a brilliant opportunity to do just that. It was lovely to hear residents discussing their favourite memories of Hale and members of the community talking about local places of interest with Sir Graham Brady.

“We would like to say a big thank you to Sir Graham Brady for coming along. The day really was a highlight of the summer here at Halecroft Grange, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back again soon.”

Designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence, Halecroft Grange, which remains open to potential residents, incorporates space for hobby and leisure activities. The building has been configured into a series of neighbourhoods to help facilitate the creation of close-knit communities and encourage social interaction among the residents.
