Taking the next step – Chester care home hosts free virtual event

A care home in Chester is inviting local people to join a free online event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.

On Monday 23rd August, from 2pm-3pm, the Care UK team at Deewater Grange care home, on Chester Road, will be hosting a free ‘Power of Attorney and Wills’ event virtually.

Independent expert and solicitor from Rowlinsons Solicitors, Donna Eland, will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those caring for a loved one to understand wills and Power of Attorney, alongside practical advice. 

Sally Cooper, Home Manager, at Deewater Grange, said: “Here at Deewater Grange, we understand that providing advice and guidance can be incredibly helpful for anyone considering the future care of a loved one, which is why we are delighted to host this event, albeit virtually.

For anyone unsure about how to take part in the virtual event, help is at hand. The team at Deewater Grange will host the event using Zoom, an online meeting space. Simply call or email Customer Relations Manager, Donna Brown, and she will send a link to join the event and share her tips to make the most out of the session.

Deewater Grange is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full-time residential, dementia and nursing care.
