Popular ‘planning for future care’ event returns virtually to Banbury care home

A care home in Banbury is inviting the local community to a free online event designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.

On Thursday 28th January, from 6pm-7pm, the Care UK team at Highmarket House, on North Bar Place, will be hosting a free ‘Planning for future care’ online event.

Independent specialists, Holly Pearce from Brethertons Solicitors and Tim English from Philip T English Financial Advisors, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for a loved one and on legal matters such as wills and Power of Attorney.

Jo Pohl, Home Manager at Highmarket House, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from the expert’s knowledge, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received.

For anyone unsure about how to take part in the virtual event, help is at hand. The team at Highmarket House will host the event using Zoom, an online meeting space. Simply call or email Customer Relations Manager Paul Clarke and he will send a link to join the event and share her tips to make the most out of the session.

Highmarket House is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full-time residential, dementia, nursing and short-term respite care. The home, which features 73 en-suite bedrooms, has been designed to enable its residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence. The care home incorporates space for hobby and leisure activities and includes its own cinema, hairdressing salon and café.
