On Tuesday 12th November, from 2pm-4pm, the Care UK team at Larkland House, on London Road, will open the home’s doors for the free ‘planning care for the future’ event.
Independent specialists, Paula Bicknell and Christopher Lawn, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for a loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. During the event, those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Larkland House and take a closer look at the care home. Nicola Humphries, home manager at Larkland House, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from the expert’s knowledge, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received.
“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to welcome two local professionals to the event, who are experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support.” Larkland House has been designed to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives. The home provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
