Community fun day comes to Davers Court

Davers Court is inviting the local community to join in with an afternoon fun activities, delicious food and live entertainment on Saturday 23rd June.

From 1pm - 4pm, local people are invited to drop into the care home to join in the celebrations at the summer fête.

Residents and visitors will be able to enjoy live entertainment from local artist, Patrick Sawyer, and try their luck on traditional games including a tombola and raffle.

For younger visitors there will be a face painter and sweet stall, and the care home’s chefs will be preparing a delicious barbecue for everyone to enjoy.

Wendy Harvey, home manager at Davers Court, said: “Hosting a fête provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.

“Here at Davers Court, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of Bury St Edmunds and we look forward to welcoming the community to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
