Davers Court residents invited to find out more about planning future care

Davers Court is inviting the local community to a free event designed to provide support for people considering future care for themselves or a loved one.

On Friday 9th June, from 2pm-4pm, the team will open the doors for its free ‘Planning your future care’ event.

Maggie Martin, an expert in care planning from In the End…Care, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance on how to prepare for your future care, including tips about where to start, what to consider, and planning the next step.

Maggie will also discuss the importance of discussing your personal preferences relating to care, as well as guidance on how to record these preferences for health care professionals.

After the event there will be a Q&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Davers Court and take a tour of the care home.
