Local MP to unveil newly refurbished Clacton-on-Sea care home

A local care home has undergone a significant investment and will see the ribbon cut by a special guest. 

Local MP Douglas Carswell will be in attendance at a special open day for the Clacton-on-Sea community at Haven Lodge care home on Reckitts Close. All are welcome for a day of family-friendly fun and entertainment to celebrate the refurbished care home on Friday 21st October.

From 2pm to 5pm, visitors can drop in to the care home to take a look at what life is like for residents at Haven Lodge. To mark the opening, the guest of honor, Douglas Carswell, will perform a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and there will also be live entertainment from James Cowdery to get everyone in the party spirit. 

Throughout the afternoon, visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Haven Lodge and take a tour of the home.
