Carling Cup final live at Tall Trees

Swansea defender Chico Flores may be unlikely to make the final of this year’s Carling Cup but residents and relatives at Tall Trees will have front row seats for the showdown between the Welsh club and Bradford.

Activities Coordinator Verity Tofts said: “Many of our residents love to watch football and they have spent their lives having fun, watching games with their friends and family, so we decided to open up our big screen TV to residents’ guests.”

The fun starts at 4pm on Sunday 24th February with hot drinks and snacks.

“We couldn’t run to the Bovril and pies they are used to having at the stadiums but we will have a lot of fun cheering on the sides - even though neither of them is Colchester United!”
