The birds and the bees at Tall Trees

Residents at Care UK’s Tall Trees home are set to become wildlife experts this spring thanks to a visit from volunteers from the Prince’s Trust.

The home is set up ready to become a haven for bugs, bees and birds with the arrival of a bird table, two bird boxes and two bug boxes, all made by the volunteers from the Colchester branch of the Prince’s Trust and presented to the home during their visit.

The home’s administrator, Abbe Moncur, said: “They are beautiful and we will have a wonderful time watching the comings and goings in the spring.

“In fact, we have already had a dove visiting the bird table. Some of the residents are keen birdwatchers and we all like to see some animal activity in the garden.”
