Long serving staff receive awards

Paisley Court paid tribute to long serving staff this month (Feb 2012) by staging a special awards ceremony.

The long service awards covered periods from five years to 25 years!!

Home manager Allison Kennie, said: ”It was great to acknowledge the contribution of the award winners,  including our wonderful maintenance man Dave Lloyd who has been taking care of our residents, and us, for a magnificent 25 years.

“All the staff were delighted to receive their certificates and for those achieving 10 years and over, their shopping vouchers.   We’re really proud to have such a fantastic team and such a low turnover of staff too – looks like we’ll have lots more long service awards in the future.

“During the ceremony, we took the opportunity to present Cyriac Stephen with his Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care – whilst many of our staff have achieved their NVQ qualification, Cyriac is the first of our staff to achieve the diploma qualification. We are all very proud of him and look forward to more of our staff achieving this award in the future.”
