Celebrations at local care home as Mayor opens new suite

A Newmarket care home celebrated the launch of its brand-new suite with the Mayor of Newmarket. 

The Care UK team at Kentford Manor, on Jeddah Way, held a special ribbon cutting to officially open its new suite. Keen to mark the occasion, the team invited the Mayor of Newmarket, Councillor Philippa Winter, to cut the ribbon before enjoying an afternoon talking to the residents about the history of Newmarket. 

The suite, named Saddlers Suite, will provide premium assisted living for people in Newmarket and the surrounding area. The suite has been designed to provide beautifully appointed private accommodation to promote aging with grace and dignity

The suite will provide residents with two separate lounge areas, along with a new dining room, in addition to six single suites and three apartment suites. Each apartment suite includes a separate living area and kitchen and all suites feature an ensuite.

The building has been configured into a number of suites to help facilitate the creation of close-knit communities and encourage social interaction among the residents.
