A care home in Adderbury has created its own very unique Christmas light display.
The team at Care UK’s Seccombe Court, on Gardner Way, have created a festive light display in the gardens of the care home to help spread festive cheer.
The impressive light display that spans the whole courtyard and was designed by team members to encourage those from the local community to come down to the care home and embrace the Christmas spirit.
The team were inspired by Winter Wonderland in London and wanted to create their very own in the home for the residents who were unable to attend Christmas light displays.
Seccombe Court residents and relatives also helped putting up some of the lights and are looking forward to welcoming those in the local community to the festive display.
Wojciech Kuczkowski, General Manager at Seccombe Court, said: “There have been so many highlights at Seccombe Court over the past year, and we’re all looking forward to celebrating Christmas here at the home. It is important to us to forge relationships with the local community and inviting them to see our Christmas lights is a great way to spread the festive feeling.
“I’d like to thank the team, residents and relatives that helped design and put up the lights – it really was a group effort!”
Designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence, Seccombe Court incorporates space for hobby and leisure activities. The home provides full-time residential care, dementia care and respite care.
