Eleven shortlistings for Care UK in the National Care Awards

The teams at Care UK are celebrating after being shortlisted in eleven different categories for the National Care Awards. Care UK is a finalist in the Care Home Group Over 10 settings category. 

Care UK’s Fulfilling Lives approach focuses on quality care and supporting residents to enjoy a fulfilling life, making Care UK a strong contender in all categories. Care UK’s training and development programmes for colleagues have been recognised as sector leading.

 

The National Care Awards are devised to celebrate the very best people in the care sector, highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care.

Regional Director for the North Midlands, Dave Ankers has been shortlisted for the Care Operations/Area Manager category. Dave has encouraged all the home managers in his region to work together, pooling their combined knowledge and experience to deliver the highest standards of quality care and service for residents. 

The other nine finalists from Care UK are:

  • Care Home Manager – Jessica Brown (Home Manager, Hadrian Park)
  • Care Registered Nurse – Sheena Henderson (Deputy Manager, Stanley Park)
  • Care Housekeeper – Sue Beckett (Head Housekeeper, Cranford Grange)
  • Care Chef – Graham Watson (Head Chef, Lauder Lodge)
  • Care Newcomer – Lauren Pope (Senior Care Assistant, Rush Hill Mews)
  • The Sara Berrio Care Champion Award – Julia Coulthard (Deputy Manager, Kings Court)
  • Care Leadership – Francesca Cowley (Home Manager, Highmarket House)
  • Lifetime Achievement in Care – Janet Janes (Senior Care Assistant, Amberley Lodge)
  • Care Personality - Andrew Knight, CEO

Andrew Knight, CEO said, “I am so pleased to see that Care UK has been shortlisted in ten categories for the National Care Awards 2022. The winners will be announced during the National Care Awards ceremony on 26th November in London.
