A care home in Kingston Vale has been spreading Christmas cheer by post.
The team at Care UK’s Sherwood Grange, on Robin Hood Lane, surprised residents’ families and friends with heartfelt Christmas cards.
Each card featured a festive picture of a resident taken in the home’s very own Santa’s Grotto, complete with Christmas trees, presents and a reindeer decorations. The cards also included a message for friends and families written specially by residents.
Rick Mayne, Home Manager at Sherwood Grange, said: “Here at Sherwood Grange, we’re committed to helping everyone feel connected during this holiday season. The support we received throughout the year from friends and relatives has been nothing short of extraordinary, so we wanted to say thank you. The Christmas cards gave us the perfect opportunity to surprise them and share some festive cheer at the same time.
“Residents loved dressing up and choosing their very own festive outfits before getting their picture taken – it really helped everybody get into the festive spirit. We’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas from all of us at Sherwood Grange.”
