A care home in Copthorne is inviting local people to meet its new home manager.
Care UK has appointed Anna Allen as home manager at Francis Court, on Borers Arms Road, where Anna has been settling into her new position over the past few weeks.
To give people a chance to meet Anna and find out more about the home, the team at Francis Court is hosting a ‘Meet the manager’ event on Tuesday 25th February, between 10.30am-4pm, when local people can also take a tour of the home and enjoy coffee and a slice of cake.
Commenting on her new position, Anna said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as home manager here at Francis Court. These past few weeks have been great, and I’ve loved getting to know the team members, residents and their families. My new journey with Care UK has got off to a great start and I’m committed ensuring residents live active and fulfilled lives.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting the local people of Copthorne during the event and finding out a bit more about the local community, as it’s such an important part of life at Francis Court.”
The home has also launched a regular carers’ support café, to allow carers in the local community to come and enjoy a cuppa and chat, as well as the opportunity to share experiences with other family carers. The café will be hosted on the second Wednesday of every month, after launching in February.
Francis Court has been designed to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives. The home provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
