Silversprings care home,Thorrington, is inviting the local community to a free event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.
On Thursday 3rd October, from 2.00pm-4.00pm, the Care UK team at Silversprings, on Tenpenny Hill, will open its doors to the community for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.
Sarah White, from Thompson Smith and Puxon Solicitors, as well as Penny Griffiths from Eldercare Solutions, will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those caring for a loved one understand the options for funding long-term care, including the benefits they may be entitled to and how to make savings go further.
The experts will offer advice and information on legal matters, including wills and Power of Attorney. The team will also be joined by Sarah Waterson from The Hunnaball Family Funeral Group offering advice and support for later life planning.
After the event there will be a helpful Q&A session, as well as an opportunity to meet the friendly team at Silversprings.
