Smyth Lodge is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.

Popular ‘planning care for the future’ event comes to Smyth Lodge

On Wednesday 12th June, from 2pm - 4pm, the team at Smyth Lodge will open the home’s doors for the free ‘planning care for the future’ event. 

Independent specialists Coreen Ayres, from TG Baynes Solicitors, and David Hawes-Gatt, from Chevening Financial,will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term carefor a loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. The experts will also discuss legal matters, such as wills and power of attorney.

During the event, those who attend will have the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Smyth Lodge and take a closer look at the care home.

Lorraine Eastmead, home manager at Smyth Lodge, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.
