The team at Little Holland Hall are planning a reunion party for the home’s 30th birthday, and as such are searching for local people who have a special connection to the care home.
Opened in May 1989, Little Holland Hall was the first Care UK home in the country, and is still home to residents who moved in over fifteen years ago. In celebration of the special anniversary, the home has invited local historian, Roger Kennell, to present photographs and stories about the home and local area.
The event is open to the general public too, who will be able to enjoy live entertainment on the day. Visitors with close links to the home are also invited to prepare a speech or story to share on the day.
James Foord, home manager at Little Holland Hall, commented: “We’re eager to invite the members of the community to the home – I’m sure there are plenty of local people who have fond memories of time spent here with family and friends, or have a story or two to tell from our 30 year history!
“Little Holland Hall has a special relationship with the local community, and we thought it was important to reach out and invite the people who have made a big difference to life at the home over the years. We can’t wait to be reunited with old friends, and look forward to making more memories at our party.”
We are happy to arrange interviews with a range of experts, commentary on industry issues and site visits for filming, photography or sound recording. Please get in touch with your requirements and we will do our best to arrange a suitable response.
