People of Leatherhead invited to take a sneak peek at revamped Milner House

Milner House is opening its doors from Saturday 22nd September to Sunday 23rd September to give local people the opportunity to take a closer look at the revamped care home. 

Between 10am - 4pm, members of the community can drop in to take a tour around the care home, a listed Victorian mansion full of history and character, which offers full-time residential and nursing care for up to 67 residents. The home has been upgraded to the highest standards, with redecorated bedrooms and stunning communal spaces. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Milner House, including home manager, Joe Patterson, and customer relations manager, Monika Patel. 

Joe said: “Building strong links with the community is important, and we are really proud of the environment that has been created here at Milner House as we prepare to unveil our refurbished suite. Every last detail here has been considered to create a relaxing and beautiful care home which will enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives. 

“The open days will give visitors the chance to see the care home for themselves and to talk to the team, while also getting insight into what day-to-day life is like at Milner House. They can also find out more about the kind of activities that are on offer. We are looking forward to welcoming the people of Leatherhead.”
