Join Mill Lodge for a royal celebration this Care Home Open Day

Mill Lodge is inviting local people to visit the home to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

On Saturday 21st April, from 1pm-4pm, the team at Mill Lodge will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

To commemorate the Queen’s 92nd birthday, Mill Lodge has organised a royal-inspired party to celebrate the open day. With homemade crowns at the ready, entertainment will include live music as well as plenty of stalls to enjoy including a bric-a-brac, tombola and raffle stall. There will also be complimentary refreshments and visitors will also get a chance to meet Mill Lodge’s friendly team and take a closer look at our home.

Karen Scaife, home manager at Mill Lodge, said: “At Mill Lodge, we’re always looking for ways to get to know our neighbours better and build relationships with the local community. Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of bringing generations together for a fun-filled day, showcasing all that the home has to offer.

“We look forward to welcoming the people of Bradford for what promises to be another fantastic open day.”
