Join Little Holland Hall for a royal celebration this Care Home Open Day

Company news

Little Holland Hall is inviting local people to visit the home to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

On Saturday 21st April, from 1.30pm–4pm the team at Little Holland Hall will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

To commemorate the Queen’s 92nd birthday, Little Holland Hall has organised a royal-inspired party to celebrate the open day. With homemade crowns at the ready, entertainment will include American themed celebrations, including a barbecue prepared by the home’s chefs. There will also be live entertainment from a local singer.

Home manager at Little Holland Hall, James Foord, said: “Here at Little Holland Hall we believe that building relationships with the local community is incredibly important in enriching the lives of residents, which is why we’re excited to be throwing a royal celebration as part of Care Home Open Day this year.”

“Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of getting to know our neighbours even better, and supporting intergenerational relationships between residents and younger guests. We have plenty of activities and entertainment on offer for all the family, so we hope that the local community will join our celebrations.”
