Free advice event returns to Silversprings

Silversprings is inviting the local community to its free event for families caring for a loved one living with dementia.

On Tuesday 6th March from 2pm-4pm, the team at Silversprings will open the doors to the care home for its Dementia Awareness event.

Dementia champion, and senior customer relations manager at Care UK, Angela Hodge, will be on hand to help people understand what it might be like to live with dementia.

Angela will be covering a number of topics and offering practical advice including how to overcome communication barriers and discovering positive approaches to living with dementia.

After the event there will be complementary refreshments and a Q&A session. Those who attend will also have the chance to meet the team at Silversprings, as well as take a closer look at the care home.
