Multi-award-winning Marsha Tuffin leads the team at Hadrian Park.
Marsha, who has a degree in Dementia Studies, has worked in the care sector for more than 27 years.
Marsha’s impressive career has seen her excel in dementia care; she has appeared in a BBC documentary and has been a contributor in several academic publications for dementia theory and practice. She has also won Dementia Personality of the Year at the National Dementia Care Awards, and has been recognised internationally for her innovative approach to providing care for those living with dementia.
Marsha has pioneered dementia excellence throughout her career, and aims to build a dementia friendly community in Billingham.
Commenting on her new position at Hadrian Park, Marsha said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as home manager for Hadrian Park and I am excited to be heading up a team of committed and compassionate individuals on behalf of Care UK.
“Everything I do is based on my belief that providing good care means tailoring care to a resident’s personal needs, as well as treating them with compassion and consideration. I want to turn knowledge into action and pioneer the best dementia care in Stockton. I’m looking forward to working with the team here at Hadrian Park to spread awareness of what is it like to live with dementia, and build innovative solutions to providing dementia care.”
