The residents were joined by pupils from Holbrook Primary School where they spent time getting to know each other and sharing stories from their childhood.
The residents and pupils were treated to a fun-filled afternoon as they took part competing together in the different games set up in the home’s garden.
The pupils also bought with them a selection of outstanding work they had completed during their lessons, which were displayed to the residents who enjoyed talking to the students about the inspiration behind their brilliant creations.
Skylark House home manager, Devendra Lallchand, said: “At Skylark House, we strive to build strong relationships between generations as well as with our neighbours and local community, and we were delighted to welcome the students from Holbrook Primary School back to the home for an exciting afternoon.
“The residents have met many of the students during previous visits, and had a wonderful time sharing stories with each other. We look forward to working with pupils at Holbrook Primary School on future projects and hope to build on the friendships which have been forged.”
