From 1pm-4pm, local people are invited to drop into Silversprings to join in the celebrations at this year’s event.
Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to make new furry friends with a visit from Kimmy’s Mobile Petting Zoo.
There will also be a delicious barbecue for guests to enjoy as well as a bouncy castle, face painting, garden games, live music from a local brass band, and a raffle – with all proceeds going towards Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Donna Cousins, home manager at Silversprings, commented: “Hosting a summer fete provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.
“Here at Silversprings, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of Thorrington, and we look forward to welcoming those in the local area to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
