Tantalise your taste buds at Tiltwood’s Care Home Open Day

Tiltwood is inviting local people to visit the home on Saturday 17th June to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

From 2pm-5pm, the team at Tiltwood will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

Tiltwood has organised a world cuisine party to celebrate the open day. There will be a selection of dishes inspired by cuisines from around the globe, prepared by the care home’s chefs. As well as fun games and activities for the whole family, including a raffle and tombola, plus, stalls for visitors to browse.

The friendly team at Tiltwood will also be on hand to give advice and information on the different types of care they provide.

Emma Fox, home manager at Tiltwood, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community across the generations. 

“We cannot wait to open our doors to the community to showcase everything Tiltwood has to offer and the difference care homes make to residents’ lives and their wellbeing. We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Cobham.”
