Tantalise your taste buds at Mildenhall Lodge’s Care Home Open Day

Mildenhall Lodge is inviting local people to visit the home on Friday 16th June to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

From 11am-4pm, the team will be opening the doors to the care home for a free family-friendly event. The day is in celebration of Care Home Open Day, a countrywide initiative to create lasting relationships between care homes and their local communities.

Mildenhall Lodge has organised a world cuisine garden party to celebrate the open day. Guests can sample freshly cooked foods from around the globe, from Caribbean specialities to classic Italian dishes, all prepared by head chef Alex Stoneham and his team. Alongside the culinary delights, there will also be live music from Jacen Bruce and belly dancers.  

Katy Hughes, home manager at Mildenhall Lodge, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents through lasting relationships with the local community across the generations.
