Skylark House spreads festive cheer in Horsham

Skylark House is inviting older people from the local community to join its Christmas dinner.

From 10:30am on Christmas Day, the Care UK team at Skylark House on St Marks Lane will welcome older people from the local community to join their festivities, to ensure that they have somebody to spend this special day with.

Guests will be welcome to join the residents for their morning celebrations. After a special Christmas Day lunch, the home will be showing a selection of festive films in its cinema for all to enjoy. There will also be plenty of traditional games before the evening buffet of tasty treats is served.

Skylark House home manager, Devendra Lallchand, said: “Here at Skylark House, we are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with all of the residents and their families. We make every effort to ensure that residents feel at home during this special time of the year, and hope to share this feeling with the local community.

“We hope that the people of Horsham will let their older neighbours and friends know about the opportunity, so that nobody has to be alone on Christmas Day.”
