Students from Holbrook Primary School were invited to get creative and draw a picture of who they care about, with the images now on display in the new marketing suite for Skylark House.
Some of the designs include ‘My teddy called Bun Bun’ by Brooke Johnson age 6 and ‘My goldfish’ by James Coward, age 6, who both visited the suite to see their artwork up on display.
As well as enjoying the children’s creations, visitors to the marketing suite can now take a closer look around the purpose-built care home in Horsham, which will boost the provision of residential, nursing and dementia care, and short-term respite care in the area.
Karen Davies, customer relations manager for Care UK, said: “We were delighted to invite the children from Holbrook Primary School to draw pictures of who they most care about - they look fantastic in the new marketing suite at Skylark House.
“We have worked hard to ensure the environment at Skylark House feels like a ‘home from home’ for the future residents. Our doors are now open for those who want to meet the experienced team already on board, and find out more about the range of care we will be providing at Skylark House.”
The new three-storey care home, which will feature 82 ensuite bedrooms, has been designed to enable its residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence. The care home will incorporate space for hobby and leisure activities and will include its own cinema, hairdressing salon and café.
The marketing suite at Skylark House is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. To take a look around Skylark House, please call Karen Davies on 01403 887578 or email karen.davies@careuk.com to make an appointment.
