Chester care home manager nominated for an Adult Safeguarding Award

Tracy Mitchell, who manages Care UK’s Pinetum care home in Chester, West Cheshire has been nominated for an award that celebrates excellence within the adult care industry.

Tracy, who has managed Pinetum for 11 years, has been nominated in the individual category of the Adult Safeguarding Awards run by West Cheshire Council. She commented “I would just like to say how humbled and happy I am to be nominated for this award.”

The Adult Safeguarding Awards are designed to give the much deserved recognition to those working in the care industry that champion support and protection for vulnerable adults; nominations for the awards can be made by any member of the community with the winners being announced at a ceremony on November 18th 2014.

Tracey commented “Keeping our residents safe and ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care is something we just do in our job and we don’t expect awards for it but I’m thrilled to be nominated as recognition for the good work that we do at Pinetum.”
