Lehmann House wellbeing centre will be throwing open its doors to older people living in the Framlingham and Wickham Market community, for an open day on 22nd March.
The wellbeing centre, at Lehmann House care home on Church Terrace in Wickham Market, provides day care services to older people living in their own homes as well as a valuable respite service to family carers.
Julie Hurren, Lehmann House wellbeing centre manager, said: “From 10.30am-1pm the wellbeing centre will offer a coffee morning and a chance to meet Care UK colleagues, as well as an opportunity to try out different activities. There will also be a cake stall, Tombola and Raffle.
The wellbeing centre is a relatively new service to Wickham Market so we hope local residents will pop in and find out more.”
The service will continue to run at Lehmann House until the end of September 2015 when the brand new wellbeing centre, being built adjacent to Mills Meadow care home on Fore Street in Framlingham, will open.
Mills Meadow is currently undergoing redevelopment in two stages as part of Care UK’s £60 million investment into care provision in Suffolk, in partnership with Suffolk County Council.
