Welcome to Mills Meadow

Mills Meadow care home in Framlingham, Suffolk provides ‘outstanding’-rated permanent and short term residential and dementia care for older people. We also provide day support for older people from the Framlingham area in the Mills Meadow Club, next door to the home.

Whether your loved one joins us on a daily, short term or permanent basis, we get to know them as an individual and ensure that they enjoy tailored and meaningful experiences every day.

Our purpose-built care home is designed to give residents maximum space, choice and luxury. Each of the 60 bedrooms is spacious and has its own en-suite facilities plus quality furnishings and fittings.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

The staff have been wonderful with our loved one, so helpful and attentive, encouraging and patient. They have been brilliant with us too… it's not always easy makng the decisions that need to be made... they have been so supportive, both practically and emotionally.

The staff are extremely efficient and always sympathetic to the needs of the residents. The new manager is really emphasising the importance of resident engagement and arranging lots of activities to keep them active according to their capabilities. He is also trying to involve families more... he conducts reviews with relatives as a matter of course, but he also arranges regular coffee mornings where relatives can discuss any concerns and get to know more about what is happening in the home.

It's a beautiful care home, modern, clean and peaceful… it’s a calm place to be. The staff are amazing! They provide excellent care for my loved one and communicate well to keep me informed about her condition and her wellbeing. The attention to detail regarding her changing needs never fails to impress me.
