Wamil Court wear it pink to raise money for charity

We were recently raised £52.60 for Breast Cancer Awareness month by hosting a coffee morning and dressing up in pink. All of the staff baked pink themed cakes and dressed up in pink, whilst enjoying tea and cake with the residents. The kitchen also contributed by baking a selection of pink cakes, which the staff purchased.

Jenna Jones, Activities Co-ordinator said:

“All the residents enjoyed the coffee morning; it was nice to see everyone smiling and all the staff pulling together. A lovely day.”

We also hosted a quick quiz which the residents and staff enjoyed. We were all busy eating, drinking and reminiscing over the good old days.
