Meadow Court share winning poem

We had some wonderful entries for our poetry competition but the winning poem was written by our Green cluster and we think it’s so good we thought we would share it with you!

Blessed are they

Blessed are they who understand

My flattening step and shaking hand

Blessed are they who seem to know

My eyes are dim and my answers slow

Bless are they who with cheering smiles

Will stop to chat for a while

Blessed are they who know my ways

And bring back my memories of yesterday

Blessed are they who ease the days

And care for me in loving ways

Blessed are they who make it known

I’m loved, respected and not alone
