Company news

We celebrated Chalfont Court’s 15th anniversary recently with a rocking 1950s themed party that had everyone on their feet.
Our manager, Keren Welch said: “The residents love music, fashion and food from the 1950s so we incorporated them all into our celebrations.”
The kitchen team made an American themed lunch with mac ‘n’ cheese and milkshakes for lunch and a 1950s American themed buffet for the evening. Our regular entertain Dave had them rocking in the aisles with 1950s classics and our activities coordinator Emily Stimpson had made poodle badges for all the ladies.
Keren said: “It was certainly a memorable party. Emily bought blow-up guitars for everyone to rock along to the music with, which was a good idea as all the exercise gave us some room to tackle the huge birthday cake.”
Bouquets were also presented to Irene Fellowship, who has worked with at Chalfont Court since it opened, and also to Joyce Marsh, who also joined the home 15 years ago.
We are happy to arrange interviews with a range of experts, commentary on industry issues and site visits for filming, photography or sound recording. Please get in touch with your requirements and we will do our best to arrange a suitable response.
